Topic: Escape from Berkeley and the State of Free Speech in 2019
Howard Hyde grew up in the radical leftist environment of Berkeley during the 1960s and 70s. Today he is a passionate advocate for limited constitutional government, a strong America and capitalism. He has documented his personal intellectual journey in his book “ Escape from Berkeley: An Ex-Liberal Progressive Socialist Embraces America and Doesn’t Apologize.” Howard is a contributing writer at American Thinker, American Spectator, National Review and Front Page Magazine. He speaks widely and also edits the website CitizenEcon.com
